FutureEverything is a destination for a world-wide community of creative visionaries in digital media and contemporary art, and an international hub for Manchester and England. The annual festival of art, music and ideas is hosted in Manchester, UK over four days.
And it's not just one event; the city will be transformed into a hive of co-operative activity with thousands flocking from all around the globe.
As part of this festival we are supporting artist Lawrence Epps with his project Human Resources. On Wednesday the 16th May keep an eye out for 8000 little clay men as an exhibit of Future Everything, 2012. The idea of the project, entitled “Human Resources”, is to encourage engagement with the city, spark conversation and for people to view and think about things from a different angle. Once loose in the city, The public are encouraged to pick up and take away the the figures then find their way into the lives and memories of the public.
Share your films, tales of clay men adventure and responses to the participatory art work at www.sykey.org and via twitter #littleclaymen.
In case you miss the little clay men today, an additional number of figures will also be distributed in and around Handmade at Victoria Baths on Saturday 19th May.
