Advice and training

The Co-operative Enterprise hub runs a programme to provide business support to new and existing co-operatives across the UK. The Advice and Training programme enables co-operative enterprises to access expert support to develop a sustainable and successful co-operative business.

Co-operative enterprises can apply for up to four days support which includes business planning, financial, staffing, legal and governance advice. It may also be sector specific in such fields as housing, retail or care services for example. However, the programme is not for general business advice.

The programme is delivered at a regional level and is currently operating in the North West, South East, South West and East of England. Other regions and nations will join the programme throughout 2009, please keep watching the website to see if your region is taking part.
