Football

The Co-operative has been investing in football for almost 40 years, supporting the game at all levels including grassroots. We believe introducing children to sport at a young age and keeping them involved is vitally important to their development; it gives them the opportunity to get regular exercise, learn about teamwork and develop social and sporting skills, all whilst having a really great time!

Alongside our sponsorships at Rochdale, Stoke City, Bradford City and Port Vale Football Clubs, we have a programme of grassroots initiatives, including football coaching and the provision of kits and equipment to junior teams.
