campaigning alongside
young people to
bring about change
Given the chance, young people have the creativity and vision to affect tremendous change, so we’re involving them in all of our campaigns and supporting their call to lower the voting age to 16
Votes at 16

Votes at 16 is inspiring young people to change their world through active citizenship, enabling them to help shape the decisions made today that will define their future. Lowering the voting age, combined with strong citizenship education, will energise young people to better engage with society, shift public policy from legislating ‘for’ to with’ young people and boost democratic and parliamentary renewal.
