Have you joined The Revolution?

Last week, The Co-operative Group launched a radical new operating plan; a bold blueprint for how organisations can help to contribute to a more sustainable economy. The programme, which introduced a number of ambitious targets, was universally praised by media outlets, political figures and industry leaders alike.

Known as The Revolution, the programme has pledged radical reforms in a number of key areas, including the environment, ethical finance and global poverty. The Enterprise Hub is playing a significant role in The Revolution.

Our task, as it always was, is to continue to provide funding and training for those who wish to embrace a better and more sustainable way to conduct their business. Our remit is to continue to spread awareness of the co-operative movement across the United Kingdom. You can see some of the co-operatives we’ve helped in the 'Revolution' video below:

But, we're going to do even more.

The new Ethical Operating Plan has pledged significantly enhanced funding for co-operative enterprises and schools and we're honoured to be featuring so prominently in this bold and ground-breaking programme. Over the next three years, £11 million will be invested into co-operative enterprises throughout the UK, while a £20 million international Co-operative Development Loan Fund has also been announced.
