Share a co-operative

Here at The Enterprise Hub, we're proud to have helped dozens of business and organisations make the switch to a co-operative model; a way of doing business that benefits its members, employees and community.

And on the Co-operative Enterprise Hub website, we've dedicated a number of blogs to the co-operatives we've supported through advice and training; we've looked at community pubs, co-operative florists and member-owned groceries.

By sharing the stories of these co-operatives, we've aimed to demonstrate that a member-owned model can be applied to companies across the United Kingdom; that there is a better way to do business.

And now, we need your help. There's a vocal and passionate online co-operative community on Facebook and Twitter. Indeed, last week so many people mentioned the hashtag #coops14 in their tweets that the phrase trended in the United Kingdom. For one morning, Twitter users across the United Kingdom got the chance to see just how powerful the co-operative movement is.

And we want it to happen again.

So, we're asking you to share your favourite co-ops with the world. Post the message 'My favourite co-operative is' with the name of your favourite organisation on Twitter and Facebook. If you're on Twitter, don't forget to use the #coops hashtag on the end of your message.

Together, we can help spread the word about the co-operative movement.
