At work Health and Safety is the responsibility of all employees; it is the intention of the Health and Safety team to help achieve this objective. The Health and Safety team aims to provide employees with information and guidance for managing and working in a safe environment. They deliver suitable and sufficient policy, procedure and processes that support employees to provide a safe place of work. The Health and Safety team manage The Co-operative Group's response to all matters relating to enforcement through establishing communication, support and guidance with all matters of potential prosecution.
Statutory compliance is a fundamental responsibility of all businesses, The Co-operative Group is constantly developing new programs to maintain the safety of our employees and customers, ensuring safety is at the forefront of everyone's minds.
