carbon offsetting

helping customers to offset unavoidable emissions

Global climate change is, arguably, the greatest threat facing the world today – and carbon dioxide is a major contributor to the problem.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a greenhouse gas produced principally from the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas) and the destruction of the world’s forests.

Greenhouse gases create an insulating layer around the earth, trapping the sun’s heat. As the levels of greenhouse gases increase, we expect to see warming of our atmosphere, which is likely to cause numerous problems, including increased flooding and droughts

Together, we can help to combat climate change and safeguard the future of the planet. But we must act now. It’s essential that we radically reduce the amount of energy we use, and that we generate more of it from clean, renewable sources. In addition, we also have the opportunity to offset our unavoidable emissions. This is where our approach to carbon offsetting comes in.
