We rear Bronze turkeys on our own farm at Stoughton, Leicestershire, in time for Christmas.

Our Truly Irresistible Bronze turkeys are selected as chicks and reared traditionally to the highest welfare standards. To keep our turkeys healthy and happy we allow them to roam freely on a large four acre grassy paddock in view of the farm house. They also have a 100 foot polytunnel to snuggle under and give shelter to the ones who don’t like the rain! The 'Reared by us' turkeys are being fed with the finest food around; wheat grown by The Co-operative Farms.

The gobbling flock of turkeys arrive on the farm in the late summer, to the excitement of the Stoughton team. Last year they experimented with new ways of keeping the energetic turkeys busy, including building seesaws, swings and even installing disco balls! This made for plenty of giggles from the many school children who come to visit the farm as part of our From Farm to Fork programme.

The Co-operative Truly Irresistible Bronze Turkeys are on sale in selected stores from late December.
