From beetles to butterflies and snails to spiders – school gardens are a haven for lots of different creatures. Just a few plants and recycled materials are all that’s needed to make a creature-friendly home.

Habitat Heroes in Schools is a new and exciting resource available to all primary schools registered for our sustainability education programme - Green Schools Revolution. It includes guides to making habitats in schools, lesson plans, activity sheets and a great interactive white board activity.

How your school can get involved

Registration to Green Schools Revolution is free for all UK schools, and gives access to our Habitat Heroes in Schools resources and a great range of teaching materials on energy, water and healthy living, as well as school trips to our farms and wind farm and much more. If your school and would like to be part of Green Schools Revolution simply visit www.greenschools.coop for more information, and ask a teacher at your school to sign up to benefit from all that’s on offer.
