Some of the pears in The Co-operative Food stores come from The Co-operative Farms. We grow pears at our Highland Court Farm, Kent and Tillington Farm, Herefordshire. The pears we grow include conference, concorde, comice and William varieties.

Our farmers ensure our pears are picked just before they are ripe to avoid bruising so our stores offer the best quality fresh fruit.

To keep your pears fresher for longer and reduce food waste, keep in the salad drawer of a refrigerator. To enjoy at their best, allow to reach room temperature to ripen before eating.
