About the farm:

We manage several farms in Aberdeenshire on behalf of their landowners. One of these is Monymusk, which produces around 7,000 tonnes of grain per year. It is also the only Co-operative Farms business with livestock, with 140 beef cows and their calves. Aberdeenshire is stunning, surrounded by castles with three in the Monymusk area.

The Co-operative Farms and The Co-operative Membership team for the Scotland region have co-purchased 200 bee hives to go on the land we farm near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. The hives have been brightly painted in joint Co-operative Membership and Co-operative Farms colours, making a unique addition to the already stunning countryside in the North East of Scotland. The hives help to support The Co-operative’s Plan Bee campaign.

Name: Robert Drysdale

Interesting fact: Robert has been skiing with ex British champion Martin Bell! He says "I recently also skied in Colorado, which was fantastic but very cold, between minus 10 to minus 25 degrees Celsius!"
