The estate to which Wykeham farm belongs has been in the same family for 350 years. There are some beautiful lakes around the area of Wykeham, renowned for their excellent fishing.

Interesting fact: David is a member of the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team. He says, "We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In a typical year I will attend 20-30 emergency callouts to; look for missing walkers, assist the police in searches for vulnerable persons who are missing from home and assist the ambulance service when people have accidents in remote and inaccessible locations".
