Volta River Estates Ltd

bananas from Volta River Estates Limited (VREL) in Ghana  

we introduced the UK’s first ever Fairtrade bananas to our customers back in 2000 and remain fully committed to supporting VREL. 
 

Kasinthula producers

The Co-operative sugar range is all Fairtrade and is grown by the Kasinthula Cane Growers Association in Malawi. 

Mchinji producers

Rosemary and Judith are peanut growers from Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. Their peanuts were the very first Fairtrade peanuts in the world and sold under The Co-operative brand.
