Environmental considerations

There is an increase in the number of people wanting to arrange a funeral which has a low impact on the environment.
Requests for more environmentally friendly coffins made from recycled or responsibly sourced materials are still very much in their infancy but are set to grow.
Materials such as FSC certified wood, British wool, water-based glue and fast-growing natural willow are being used to make coffins. Ashes caskets and urns are also available in recycled, biodegradable and sustainable materials.
