what are favourites / bookmarks?
Favourites or bookmarks can enable you to save links to websites and webpages that you regularly visit or wish to remember for a later date, so that in the future you can go to these websites more quickly, and no longer need to remember the url for each website or page. The method for adding Websites to your favourites is different depending on your choice of browser.
How to add Websites to your favourites in Internet Explorer
Within Internet Explorer, navigate to the website you would like to add to your favourites
Once you are at the page or website you would like to add to your favourites, click the 'favourites' option at the top of your Internet Explorer toolbar.
From the menu, select 'Add to Favourites...'
A small window will then popup giving you the Website name and asking you to OK the addition of this web address to your favourites, or to Cancel it.
