Attend a FREE event on gardening for pollinators

16/04/2012 by Plan Bee admin 2Add comment

The Co-operative Membership teams are holding gardening for pollinator events this summer across the UK. Come along and find out how to help bees, butterflies and moths in your garden.

Bees don’t just make honey, they pollinate a third of the food we eat but their numbers have fallen by up to 30% in recent years.

That’s why The Co-operative launched Plan Bee – a campaign to help pollinators such as bees, butterflies and moths.

Our membership teams are supporting Plan Bee by holding pollinator-focused events this summer across the UK. The events are FREE and are open to all members of The Co-operative, their families and friends.

Do your bit to help. Come along for an exciting family-friendly day out:

  • Learn about bees, butterflies and moths
  • Get tips on how to make your garden more pollinator-friendly
  • Create your own insect hotel
  • Bring along flower seeds and swap with other members
  • Meet our beekeeper and other members interested in pollinators

To find details of an event near you and book your place visit our Membership Events website.
