A Green Schools Revolution has begun in over 5,000 schools across the UK – is YOUR school involved?
Green Schools Revolution is an inspiring sustainability education programme with resources, activities and trips to encourage school children from the age of five to 16 to think differently about the world around them.
With lots of ideas on how to live more sustainably, we want to inspire a new generation of green pioneers to help create a clean, green sustainable future.
Registration for Green Schools Revolution is free and for all UK primary and secondary schools. Once registered, schools have access to a broad range of high quality teaching resources and free school trips, including:
Free Farm Visits
Over 80,000 Primary school children have pulled on their wellies and got their hands dirty on one of our Co-operative Farms. On a day visit, children learn about where their food comes from, how it’s grown and cook their own nutritious dishes.
Revolutionary Resources
Thousands of primary and secondary schools across the UK are already busy learning about energy, water and healthy living with our free lesson plans, teaching resources and whole school activities.
Walk to School
Green Schools Revolution is supporting primary schools to set up their own Co-operative walking bus. Registered schools can apply for high visibility vests, posters, banners and snap bands to get their school moving.
Plus, there are lots more ways to get your school involved, from joining in with Green Schools Revolution week, to entering our competition to win a share of an £18,000 prize fund to make your school greener.
