Moving home advice given by expert
Conveyancing 07 Jul 2011

People who are
moving home have been given tips on how best to handle the process by an expert in the property market.
David
Pollock, an estate agent in north London, told the Daily Telegraph: "In my experience, the best approach when you’re buying or selling a house is to take a step back and pretend you’re removed from the action."
Mr
Pollock told those moving home that they should make sure they stay on good terms with the seller, so that they do not take revenge by stripping the house.
In addition, the author of 101 Things Your Estate Agent Should Tell You said people buying a new home must make sure that they are not being strung along by a vendor.
Mr
Pollock also suggested that people choose properties in areas that are up and coming, where they can often get more affordable homes.
Furthermore, the National Association of Estate Agents (
NAEA) said that those looking to buy a home should first look at the property section of local newspapers in the area they want to live to get a good idea of house prices.
