Seek legal advice over missold PPI

Many people have been missold payment protection insurance (PPI) and should seek
legal advice on reclaiming this money, it has been claimed.
Stuart Bell, a north-east financial expert, has told Bdaily that a combination of entrepreneurs, sole traders and people in regular employment were sold this cover on false pretences.
He said that up to £50 million could be reclaimed by people in this region and that the cases often require only a minimum of legal advice to pursue.
"This is money that is owed to companies and individuals, and in many cases the process of reclaiming is made difficult so as to discourage people from trying," he claimed.
Mr Bell said that the evidential burden is far lower than for those pursuing a personal
injury claim and added that the money could be hugely advantageous to small business owners in the region.
Earlier this week, the North Wales Chronicle recently warned those who feel they obtained payment protection insurance without all of the facts and without questioning whether it was a necessary part of their repayment structure should seek legal advice.
