Bon Jovi gig victim wins £33,000 accident compensation

Personal Injury 16 Nov 2010

A woman run over at a Bon Jovi concert has received £33,000 accident compensation, after a roadie ran over her in a golf buggie. Accident compensation worth £33,000 has been paid to a woman who was run over by a member of staff at a Bon Jovi gig in 2006.

Sally Allen, 39, suffered broken bones and crushing injuries after a roadie drove over her in a golf buggie when a fire broke out, with the personal injury victim's original claim standing at £250,000.

However, the victim has decided to settle for less, as she says the case was dragging on too long and interfering with her life.

Ms Allen alleges the driver yelled abuse at her as he approached, saying: "Do you know who I am? Get out of my way," while using expletives.

Her accident compensation may contribute towards loss of wages suffered as a result of the incident, as well as costs incurred through requirements such as medical bills and transport.

The band have apologised to the personal injury victim and assured her the person in question no longer works for them.
