Man wins bike accident claim
Personal Injury 15 Feb 2011

A man has won a personal
injury claim after he was involved in a road accident while cycling.
Injury solicitors helped Roger Excell of Bournemouth to win £5,000 in
accident compensation from the Borough of Poole, the Bournemouth Echo reported.
Last week, a Bournemouth County Court judge also instructed the body to pay costs of £8,099.
Mr Excell said: "The money side of it doesn't really bother me. I just wanted Poole council to be punished by the court and the judge made it extremely clear that they have to protect cyclists and other path users."
Machine engraver Roger Excell hit at temporary road works sign when cycling on August 14th 2007. As a result of the
road traffic accident he was unable to walk correctly due to damaging his groin and legs.
In addition, Lynn News reported that a teenager who was under the influence of alcohol when he caused a car accident has paid compensation. Max Good was a passenger in a vehicle when he grabbed the wheel, causing the car to overturn.
