Road traffic accident leaves father with £300,000 compensation claim
Personal Injury 21 Oct 2011

A Blackburn farther of two has won a £300,000
compensation claim after being run over in his home town.
Zahid Hussain sustained serious brain injuries when a silver Volvo ran into him.
He was left in a life threatening condition with four fractures to his skull and a swelling on the brain.
Following the
road traffic accident Mr Hussain was awarded damages after the car driver's insurance company came to a compromise with Mr Hussein's family.
Lawyers for the claimant were set to argue that the driver of the car was entirely to blame for the accident but Mr Hussain's family settled out of court to avoid a potentially costly trial.
Judge Alison Hampton QC stated to the Lancashire Telegraph at London High Court: "I hope the money can be put to good use and in the best interests of the claimant."
Mr Hussain now lives with his father in London and the money will be used to improve his living conditions and quality of life.
