Personal Injury 03 Mar 2011
Accident solicitors have been successful in a case against a teenager van driver who pulled out before another vehicle at a junction, causing an accident.
Ceirion James Thomas of Lower Cwmtwrch has now been ordered to pay a court bill of £610 for his actions, the South Wales Guardian reported.
Mr Thomas, who is 19, admitted that during the incident he drove despite not possessing a test certificate or insurance and that he operated a vehicle carelessly.
In addition, Mr Thomas said that the four passengers who were in the back of the vehicle at the time were not wearing seat belts.
A court instructed him to pay Natalie Clare Powell of Lower Cwmtwrch
accident compensation of £300. He also had to cover a victim surcharge of £15 and £60 for prosecution costs.
Another road accident last year also saw a young man make a compensation pay out. Max Good seized the steering wheel while a passenger in a car causing the vehicle to overturn, Lynn News said.
