Expert gives wills and probate advice
Probate & Estate Administration 28 Jan 2011

Those interested in accessing wills and
probate services have been given some helpful advice by an expert financial website.
Offering a useful piece of inheritance advice, Thisismoney.co.uk said the one resolution that people should make and keep is to write a will.
Which? told the website that those who do not make a will could find their home, belongings and savings going to a person who they do not wish to receive their estate.
Those who make a will can also make the process of estate administration simpler and instruct their families steps to take next after their demise, such as how to arrange a funeral.
If a person dies
intestate - without a will - their surviving next of kin will receive their estate in order of partner, children, and parents, followed by siblings.
The news source also recommended that parents name guardians for their children, as in the event of both their deaths, failing to do so could see the courts planning their youngsters' futures.
In addition, Lovemoney.com said that everyone should make a "proper will" so that family members do not suffer additional "emotional and financial strain".
