Grant of probate controversial in turkey millionaire's will?
Probate & Estate Administration 04 Jan 2011
Grant of probate could be a controversial issue when it comes to the will of recently-deceased 'Turkey King' Bernard Matthews.
At its most extreme,
contesting probate may be one outcome of the estate administration, as the millionaire's fortune could be subject to the wishes of the man's illegitimate child and only blood heir, the Daily Mirror suggests.
A resident of the Netherlands, George Matthews told the publication he is indeed son of the tycoon, saying of his possible inheritance: "It's not clear how it will be divided."
Wills and
probate solicitors can help in such situations and may make the difficult time after the death of a loved one easier to cope with, as questioning a testament may be a lengthy and expensive process.
Recent comments by lord justice Mummery highlight the importance of making a will, the Telegraph reported, as the judge noted two step-brothers spent "a great deal of money" arguing over their inheritance.
