How to stop beneficiaries of a will facing inheritance tax
Probate & Estate Administration 20 Jan 2011

People have been offered advice about how to stop the recipients of their estate having to organise paying
inheritance tax through a
probate service after their demise.
The Telegraph said: "The choice is whether you take positive action now to organise your affairs to reduce the impact of the tax or undertake no planning, leaving the liability to chance."
Recently, the news source offered inheritance advice, when it said that people can pay for their grandchildren's school fees now through a one-off payment of cash to their parents, or finance their schooling as gifts from excess income.
The newspaper said people must review their own circumstances to make sure that their estate is tax efficient after their death and tax-efficient gifts are given, as every situation is different.
In addition, Alan Dickins told Citywire.co.uk that the deceased's role of distributing funds will be assumed by a professional
executor, who will make sure that a person's wishes as contained in their will are carried out.
