Wills and probate advice issued
Probate & Estate Administration 26 Jan 2011

A Devon will writer has dispensed some helpful tips to those interested in wills and
probate advice.
Linda Fisher, regional chairman of the Society of Will Writers, told the Somerset County Gazette that people must make sure their will is 'properly written'.
This will ensure their wishes are easier to carry out for
probate executors, which could be the beneficiaries of their will or
probate solicitors.
Ms Fisher said that in cases where wills are not properly written families can experience problems after a loved one's death.
She said: "I have come across some very sad cases where people have carried out simple DIY wills only for someone to find out, when it was too late, that the will didn't go anywhere near serving its purpose."
Ms Fisher added that to avoid this scenario and make the inheritance process easier, people must make a "properly crafted last will and testament".
The importance of doping this was also shown last year when Alexander Mosley, the son of ex-Formula 1 boss Max Mosely died without leaving a will, meaning that his parents automatically gained control of his £1.6 million estate.
