Wills and probate news: Amy Winehouse excluded ex-husband from will, source claims
Probate & Estate Administration 26 Jul 2011

A source has said that Amy Winehouse decided to
make a will before her death that stopped her ex-husband from receiving any of her fortune.
It has been claimed that the singer ensured that her ex-partner, Blake Fielder-Civil, would not be granted any of her fortune, which is reportedly more than £10 million, after the pair divorced in 2009, the Daily Mail reported.
Legal experts told the news source that the late singer's fortune would be given to her immediate family, including her mother, father and brother.
"Around the time of the divorce, all of Amy’s finances were sorted out – and Blake can’t get his hands on any of it," a source informed the newspaper.
They added they were "pretty sure" that the Back to Black singer had decided to make a will, as she would have done so when her financial advisers instructed her to.
Ms Winehouse's body was discovered on Saturday July 23rd at her residence in Camden, North London. The cause of her death has not yet been revealed.
