Worried about the value of your estate?
Probate & Estate Administration 04 Jan 2012

With financial resolutions at the forefront of people minds for 2012, many may be worrying about the value of their probate estate when they die.
People want to ensure that loved ones are provided for in the event of their death but financial hardship over the past couple of years has diminished the savings of many households.
Research by First Direct has shown that the British public were more unhappy with their finances in 2011 (48 per cent) than 2010 (36 per cent).
The majority of those concerned about money felt that they had not paid off enough debts, closely followed by fears that they had not saved enough.
Making plans for the new year to sort out finances will be vital to perform an inventory of what will be left during the
probate process.
When sorting out assets, writing a will can also be helpful and could be a good way to evaluate what areas of household finances need improving or expanding.
