Millionaire leaves charity will
Will writing 19 Jan 2011

Those interested in making a will be interested to hear that a retired teacher has left her estate to charitable organisations using a
charity will.
Several good causes in Scotland benefitted when Jenny Bone's £1.8 million fortune was divided up after her death.
Ms Bone, who died at the age of 102, was described by those who knew her as "incredibly modest", despite having several savings accounts and a large stocks and shares portfolio that included Tesco, GlaxoSmithKline and Royal Dutch Shell.
Elizabeth Halewood, who knew Ms Bone, said: "Jenny was such a lovely lady, she never changed in all the years that I knew her. To think she had all that money is astonishing. She was an incredibly modest person. It just goes to show what a kind person she was."
The importance of using
professional will writing services was shown when Ms Bone instructed that the National Trust for Scotland receive half her money and that the rest go to the Saltire Society and the Church of Scotland.
In addition, Lucy Tobin recently wrote for the London Evening Standard that a person should make a will and update it regularly to have control of their personal finances.
