Almost half of 25-50 year olds yet to make a will

Recent research has revealed that 48 per cent of people aged 25 to 50 in the UK have yet to
make a will.
The study by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk discovered that many think that they are "too young" to make this document, even though some of them had children.
Almost a quarter had yet to make a will as they thought that considering making this document was too "morbid", while 17 per cent admitted that they had yet to get round to it.
In addition, 13 per cent said that they did not think they needed this document, while nine per cent did not know how to make a will.
Of the people who said that they did not need one, 32 per cent had children and 21 per cent of those who did not have a will did not plan to remedy the situation within the next decade.
This month Bik-ki Wong, associate solicitor and head of a law firm's will writing team, told the Chester Chronicle that people of all ages should make this document.
