Does your single-will come with a password?

Internet passwords are increasingly being left in a number of single-wills and mirror-wills, according to a new study.
Research conducted by cloud computing company Rackspace has shown that 25 per cent of 2,000 adults surveyed had more than £200 worth of possessions stored online and 11 per cent had already built in an internet password to their will.
Mathew Strain, partner at Strain Keville, stated: "With more photos, books, music and so on being stored online and in digital format, the question of what happens to these when people are gone becomes more important every day."
Consequently, legal professionals are advising clients that digital inheritance is something that should be thought about as a part of the provisions in their will.
