Making a will "extremely important"

Will writing 27 Jul 2011

Making a will "extremely important" A commentator has recently told people that making a will is "extremely important".

Mark Pearson, chairman of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, said that thinking about this task certainly is not enjoyable but it is essential.

He said that people who are unsure how to draft the document can try carrying out some research on the internet.

Mr Pearson mentioned that people can get their hands on DIY will kits, but he stressed that this is not always the best option, particularly if people want to ensure that the document is 100 per cent correct.

In addition, he commented that deciding to make a will is even more crucial for those who have children.

Mr Pearson's comments were also supported by Paul Sharpe, chairman of the Institute of Professional Willwriters, who said that making this document will mean that loved ones left behind will have direction and certainty.

He said that a will ensures that the people a person wishes to inherit will, while those they do not will be excluded.
