Making a will 'extremely important'
Will writing 10 Aug 2011

People have been advised of the importance of
making a will by one commentator involved in a campaign to encourage people to do this.
Tricia Cavell, fundraising director at St Richard's Hospice in Worcestershire, told the Droitwich Advertiser that people do not like to think about making a will and put off drafting this document.
However, she said that it is crucial to make this item today.
She said: "Very often people don't see any urgency about the issue of wills, whereas in fact it is extremely important and can make a huge difference to the lives of those left behind."
Ms Cavell pointed out that those who do not
make a will could leave situations in which loved ones face financial issues or disagreements.
In addition, when people have made wills they should remember to update them.
Lawyers Charlie Tee and Sue Medder this year told Ifaonline.co.uk that one celebrity who failed to do this was Heath Ledger, who made a will before the birth of his daughter and did not alter it after, stripping her of legal rights to his estate.
