Nurse bequeaths sculpture to children's hospice
Will writing 14 Oct 2011

A nurse who has passed on from cancer aged 45 has remembered the hospice at which she worked while making her will.
Dawn Owen, a children's nurse, left money for a sculpture as a bequest to the Ty Gobaith hospice for terminally-ill children at Ty'n-y-Groes, the North Wales Weekly News has reported.
Her donation has allowed the hospice to install a 15ft floral sculpture made of galvanised steel in order to brighten up the site and bring a smile to people's faces.
Widower David Dallimore said that his partner had been "totally committed" to the hospice and the people that it served.
He said: "One of the things she felt strongly about was to make the grounds of Ty Gobaith more fun for the children who stayed at the hospice. She wanted to see something that brightened up the place for them."
Earlier this month, Piya Khanna, executive coach and founder of Changetosucceed.com, advised those benefiting from an unexpected windfall to leave a gift to charity when
making a will.
