Solicitor gives free will writing advice
Will writing 16 Mar 2011

A legal expert has spoken out to advise people to
make a will.
Solicitor Simon Leighton wrote for the Guardian that people who have dependants should create this document and seek the help of
professional will writing services to do so.
He pointed out that many people put off making a will as they do not want to upset family members, are not sure how to divide their estate or simply think their property and savings will not be worth enough to warrant such a document.
Mr Leighton said: "But many of us turn out to be worth more dead than alive," meaning that it is worthwhile to make a will.
He added that those who do not have a
will beneficiary can still do good by creating a
charity will.
Furthermore, Iain McAndrew, vice-chair of Remember A Charity and head of legacies at Save the Children, last year said that people should make a will so that its beneficiaries and executors do not suffer any anxiety.
