Gaining an admission of liability

Once your appointed solicitor has the information required to prove the fault of the person or organisation that you are claiming against, they will gather the evidence and notify the insurer to gain an admission of liability at the earliest possible opportunity.

Your appointed solicitor will be experienced and skilled in the negotiation process and will ensure that this is resolved as quickly as possible. Even if you are partly to blame for the accident which caused the injury, your solicitor may still be able to make a claim on your behalf.

If an admission of liability is not forthcoming they will take further action. Your legal team includes experts in the litigation process and they work with specialist barristers in order to give your claim the best chance. Do not worry if court proceedings are issued in order to resolve this – they often give your solicitor another chance to negotiate. If your claim does need to go to court, your solicitor will provide you with comprehensive advice and full representation if required.
