Classic Irish coffee

ingredients

2 mugs ¾ full of hot fresh coffee (preferably made with a cafetière)
2 tsp The Co-operative Fairtrade brown sugar
50ml (2fl oz) The Co-operative Irish whiskey
50ml (2fl oz) double cream
Nutmeg for topping


method

Combine the coffee, sugar and Irish whiskey in a mug and stir until dissolved.

Float the cream over the coffee by simply pouring over the back of a teaspoon resting on the side of the glass.

Finish with a little grated nutmeg.
