Eden Project reveals top 10 spring gardening tips

Top eco tourist attraction, the Eden Project, has released its top 10 tips for spring gardening.

Budding gardeners can now get a helping hand from experts at the Cornwall-based project, which attracts over one million visitors each year. The unique opportunity to learn about gardening and nature is what gives the project its regular spot in the list of the UK’s top 20 tourist attractions and now nature enthusiasts can learn from the best thanks to recently revealed top tips.

The top 10 list includes removing weeds early to prevent them really setting down roots, setting up a water butt to collect rain as a hot, dry summer is forecast, and checking nooks and crannies for slugs to prevent them feasting on your delicate seedlings.

Other advice given by the project’s team included getting the children involved and choosing slug repellents carefully so as not to poison other creatures such as birds.
