Regional Boards

Area Committees (and the Northern Ireland Members' Council) elect representatives on to Regional Boards. The Board is responsible for a lot of our work in your region, including:

• Keeping an eye on the performance of The Co-operative Group’s businesses in the region
• Making decisions on such matters as buying or refurbishing The Co-operative Group’s branches
• Working with management and The Co-operative Group Board of Directors to make sure we always represent our members’ interests.

To stand for election onto a Regional Board you need to have been on an Area Committee for 2 years.
