Putting yourself forward for election means you could become part of a committee, which plays an extremely important role in representing the views of members in your area.
There are 48 committees up and down the country, all made up of likeminded members who want to have a say in how we serve our customers, run our businesses and serve and support our communities.
If you were to be successfully elected, you would become a voice for other members, stakeholders and communities.
As well as knowing you’re helping to make a difference both locally and further afield, you’d be given the following:
- An annual fee
- Expenses
- A special discount at all The Co-operative businesses
- The opportunity for training and development
