1. What is your current involvement in The Co-operative?
I shop at my local food store and attend fair trade food tastings and coffee mornings. I secured Group funding to organise a fair trade picnic in a local park.

2. What qualifications and/or experience do you possess that are relevant to the position of area committee member?
I’m a Labour & Co-operative councillor on Manchester City Council and a school governor. I am experienced working as part of a committee. I have work experience in finance, retail and community engagement and play a very active role in the local community. I am skilled at co-operative decision making.

3. What other qualities would you bring to the role of area committee member?
I am a talented organiser. Working for an MP and previously for a local charity, I have organised many successful community events and developed innovative ways to engage people and communities in the democratic process. I am a creative thinker with unbridled passion, energy and commitment to co-operative values.

4. What aspirations do you have for The Co-operative?
Co-operative values and principles must remain at the core of everything we do. We must aspire to be a world-class business, delivering excellent quality to our customers and members, with fantastic products and great value for money. We should be the best retailer in the world whilst caring for our communities.
