2. What qualifications and/or experience do you possess that are relevant to the position of area committee member?
Through my role in the Brand Training Team I have extensive knowledge of The Co- operative, its brand, history and structure. I have experience within Food Group both in Operations and HR and Training and Development. I am a founding member and current treasurer of Grasmere Community First Responder Trust.
3. What other qualities would you bring to the role of area committee member?
I have a proven ability to work within a team, professionally and through charity committee work. My skill lies in communication, on a one-to-one basis or addressing groups. I have commitment to and enthusiasm for the Co-operative model and my community and a desire to support both..
4. What aspirations do you have for The Co-operative?
I truly hope to see The Co-operative Group grow in strength and influence. The way in which our business has fared through the financial crisis has shown that the Co- operative model is strong and that success can, and should, be founded on integrity. I want to see The Group thrive but we must remain focussed on cementing long-term security, for our people, our communities and for the good of everyone.
