stand for election

Whatever your background is, no matter how old you are, if you want to get involved we’d love to hear from you!

There are lots of great reasons to become an elected member of The Co-operative Group.

Members interested in joining a committee must first stand for election*, where other members can vote for them. If successful, they become the voice of other members, stakeholders and the communities The Co-operative serves and supports.

From the very beginning, Membership teams are there to help support members considering standing for election. We start with election briefings which help you understand that being a member is all about and to guide you through the election process.

Regional vacancies for all areas are open to nomination from 2 April to 14 May. Let us know if you’re interested in joining a committee by completing your details below

Nominations are now open!
