Arranging a prepayment Funeral Plan
The 2,500 membership points are available only if you are the Plan Purchaser of a Funeral Plan and provide your membership number at the time of completing The Co-operative Funeralcare or Fairways Funeral Plan Application Form. This offer does not apply to any other services from The Co-operative Funeralcare. The 2,500 points will be added to your membership account only after we have received payment in full or the first payment if choosing to pay monthly, and the Plan has not been cancelled within 30 days. The membership points cannot be added retrospectively and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Other business terms and conditions apply.

500 points on memorial masonry
Offer applies to new memorial and/or additional lettering only. Offer does not apply to removal and/or re-fixing of memorials or third party charges (e.g. cemetery fees). To qualify for the above the following applies:

• The client must be a member at the time of the arrangement or the deceased a member at the time of death.
• The membership card must be presented by the client prior to the funeral. If the membership card is not available, the account status must be verified via membership.
• The account must be in the name of the member unless the member is the deceased.
• The account must be paid within our 28-day payment terms. Invoices are issued in full; discount will be deducted if/when full payment is received within our payment terms.

Offers are not retrospective. Our business terms and conditions apply. This does not affect your statutory rights.

5% off professional services fee
Offer applies to the “professional services” fee only (as detailed on price list, estimate and invoice). Discount does not apply to any other item listed on the account.
Offer does not apply to Basic Funerals, funeral packages (these are already discounted) or Funeral Plans and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including staff discount.

1 membership point for every £1 spent
Members who are paying for the funeral can collect membership points. Points are awarded directly into members accounts and are based on the amount spent on our products and services only, excluding Funeral Plans where a standard 2,500 points are awarded. The following transactions qualify for share of the profit points: funeral sales, non-funeral sales (sundry accounts) and masonry sales. The following exemptions apply to membership points: any discounts to be deducted from the qualifying amount, disbursements paid to third parties (e.g. cemetery fees, church fees, newspaper notices, etc), non-funeral or masonry sales paid for/covered by a third party (e.g. hospital or local authority contract funerals, pre paid funeral plan, other funeral director charges, etc).

Points can only be awarded to the individual member (accounts in the name of a solicitor, bank/building society or other non-members do not qualify). It is only the client that can receive membership points if they are a member (not the deceased). Points are not transferable.

Points will only be awarded if full payment of the account is made within our 28 day payment terms.

Points to note

The share of the profits is paid from distributable profits of Co-operative Group Limited and is approved by our members. The value of a membership point awarded for trade may vary each year. If the Group does not declare a profit the points you earn may not be given a value. Please see full terms and conditions.
