where can I earn points?

The answer is at all of our family of businesses. So whether you’re doing the weekly food shop or writing your Will, you’ll be topping up the points on your card each time you choose to shop with The Co-operative Group. It really couldn’t be easier to start earning points:

Simply hand over your membership card wherever you see the membership sticker
If you’re buying something online or over the phone you can use your membership number
Twice a year the points you’ve earned will be turned into pounds and pence, based on the profits of the business
You’ll receive your ‘share of the profits’ as cash in June and November.

The more points you earn, the higher your share will be!

The number of points you receive depends on which business you shop with:

Food, Pharmacy, and Electrical Shop – 1 point for every £1 you spend
Travel – 1 point for every £2 you spend
Legal Services – 1 point for every £2 you spend on a Will and 250 points when you buy or sell a property
Funeralcare – 1 point for every £1 you spend
Funeralcare Funeral Plans - 2500 points for each Funeral Plan you purchase
Motor Group – 1 point for every £5 you spend
Petrol Stations – 1 point for every £10 you spend on fuel
Insurance - 250 points for holding a home or motor insurance policy with The Co-operative Insurance held for 12 months

You can also earn points when you shop with The Co-operative Bank:

1 point for every £10 held or borrowed on average in The Co-operative Bank or smile current account, credit card or outstanding on a loan
1 point for every £20 held on average in a savings account with The Co-operative Bank, smile or Britannia
1 point for every £40 outstanding on a mortgage with The Co-operative Bank, smile or Britannia
