As well as high levels of customer service, you will earn membership points when you spend with any of our high street and internet businesses*:

  • Food, Pharmacy, Funeral and Online Stores –  point for every £1 spent
  • Travel and Legal Services (Wills) – 1 point for every £2 spent
  • Legal Services (conveyancing) – 250 points
  • Funeralcare  (funeral planning) – 2,500 points for a funeral plan not applicable to any other product or service
  • Motor Group – 1 point for every £5 spent
  • Petrol stations  (fuel) – 1 point for every £10 spent


You will also be rewarded with points based on the products you hold with The
Co-operative Bank, our internet bank smile, and The Co-operative Insurance. Members will be awarded points based on the products they held the previous year – for instance in 2006:

  • 1 point for every £10 held or borrowed on average in The Co‑operative Bank or smile current or credit card accounts
  • 1 point for every £10 outstanding on a loan from The Co‑operative Bank or smile
  • 1 point for every £20 held on average in a savings account with The Co‑operative Bank, smile or Britannia
  • 1 point for every £40 outstanding on a mortgage with The Co‑operative Bank or Britannia 
  • 1 point for every £10 borrowed on average in The Co-operative Bank flexible loan accounts
  • 250 points for holding a home or motor insurance policy with The Co‑operative Insurance held for 12 months (125 points for six months).
