Netball Olympic Bid

Join The Co-operative's bid to get netball played in the Olympic Games!

Netball is played by 1million women and girls a week in the UK, and is one of the most popular female team games in the world being played in over 70 countries, but despite this popularity - and being a regular sport in the Commonwealth Games - it has never featured in the Olympics.

The Co-operative, sponsors of the netball Superleague, has lent their support to England Netball in supporting netball's bid to be played at the greatest stage of all.

The bid to get netball into the Olympics already has the backing of Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who has indicated his desire for netball to become a demonstration sport at the London 2012 Olympics.

So find out more on the site and show your support by signing up, along with the thousands of others who have already done so, to register your support to netball being played at the Olympics.
