The Co-operative Foundation
The Co-operative Foundation is at an important and exciting turning point.
Our major initiative of the last five years, ‘Truth about Youth’, reached its conclusion in 2015, having touched the lives of more than 100,000 young people and helped to challenge negative stereotypes of Britain’s youth.

We worked with partners across the UK to run a wide range of projects which showed young people at their best – whether taking social action in their community, getting creative, or developing their skills for work and life.
In November 2015, Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre put on a fitting grand finale for Truth about Youth, with dozens of young people taking to the stage to tell their own inspiring stories or screening videos about the things they are passionate about.

The Trustees and their small team of Foundation staff are currently taking stock of the Foundation’s previous work, and looking to the future with renewed ambition.
While the Foundation is developing its new strategy, unfortunately we can’t take any new applications for funding. But if you’d like to be updated about our future plans when they are announced, please email the team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add your details to our contact list.
